Areas of Consulting
FOCUS GROUPS
Focus Groups tell us how to frame the case, develop rules, timelines, opening statements and help all trial lawyers develop themes that resonate with today’s complex juries. There are many types of focus groups including, narrative, adversarial, attitudes, issue discussion narratives, damages, and first person story. The key is to gain maximum information, which is always the ultimate goal merchandising.
NURSING HOME CASE CONSULTING
Injured residents of Long Term Care Facilities include Nursing Homes, Assisted Living Facilities, Transition Facilities and Comprehensive Care Homes. These types of cases are dramatically different than Medical Malpractice cases and must be conducted differently from the collection of medical records, filing complaint, conducting discover and trial. While still practicing law,Saul Gruber was Chair of the Nursing Home Litigation Group of the American Association for Justice and helped develop the ever-changing law in these type of cases while still practicing law for 32 years. He is now available to consult with lawyers handling these cases.
TRIAL and Litigation CONSULTING
Demystifying trial law is in itself a creative practice. It requires finesse, strategic structuring, and in many ways, empathy. There is a skill to structuring opening statements and summations as well as sequencing witnesses. In order to properly maximize results, there must be significant thought and structure to the entire trial including the use of analysis from focus groups. Consider the trial consultant simply another part of your trial team. As the commercial says “Don’t leave home without it”
